Helping children, teenagers and families has been an essential focal point and goal throughout my career. I have dedicated my time to working with the youth since I was 17 years old. I graduated from the University of Paris V, Rene Descartes with a double Master’s Degree in Neuroscience and in Clinical Psychopathology. Additionally, I received a degree in Cerebral Aging (the Faculty of Medicine) at Paris VII, Lariboisière. I have done clinical research on infant and genetic development in regards to autism, dyslexia, major depression and Alzheimer’s disease. My primary motivation behind this research was to better understand how individuals, specifically children and adolescents, are affected both by their genetic predisposition and by their environment. I have also worked as a neuropsychologist in hospital as well as for the French government in Paris. I moved to the United States in 2000 and took time off after I had my first child before returning to my field. I then further extended my education by attending classes in the psychology department at Santa Clara University. I became a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in 2008. I have been working in a private practice clinical setting since 2005 and am currently located in Cupertino. Specializing in adolescents who were severely depressed, anxious and suicidal inspired me to create and facilitate 2 Intensive Outpatient Programs (IOP) in 2013. Soon after, I decided to create the unique IOP designed to treat the issue of screen addiction in children and adolescents in California and I am proud to officially be launching these new programs located in the Bay Area. I recently founded a non profit organization for children and teenagers called www.gallopsy.org . It an Equine program located in beautiful ranch in Morgan Hill, California.
