About Me

My background

Helping children, teenagers, young adults and families has always been at the heart of my career. Over the years, I have developed a specialized focus on screen addiction—including video games, social media, and other forms of problematic Internet use. My work centers on identifying and treating both the addiction itself and the underlying clinical diagnoses that often accompany it, such as ADHD, depression, anxiety, and Autism spectrum disorders.

I have created multiple evidence-based treatment programs for children and adolescents struggling with screen dependency. My approach combines neuroscience, clinical psychology, and family-based interventions to support long-lasting behavioral change. In 2019, I was interviewed by CBS San Francisco for my successful screen-addiction program for youth, which included a highly effective parent-training component. This recognition helped bring attention to the growing mental-health impact of digital overuse on young people.

More recently, I have expanded my work into research and clinical protocol development. I have designed, researched, and presented a validated, evidence-based protocol specifically for adolescents diagnosed with both ADHD and screen addiction—a population that is particularly vulnerable to digital overstimulation. My research aims to provide clinicians with structured, scientifically grounded methods to address this increasingly common clinical challenge.

My dedication to children and adolescents is rooted in extensive training across both France and the United States. I hold dual Master’s degrees in Neuroscience and Clinical Psychopathology from Paris V René Descartes and Paris VI Pierre and Marie Curie, as well as a University Diploma in Cerebral Aging from Paris VII Lariboisière. My early research included work on infant genetic development, Autism, Dyslexia, Major Depression, and Alzheimer’s disease. Before relocating to California, I spent three years working in the Gerontology department of a Parisian hospital, conducting neuropsychological evaluations for patients experiencing dementia and stroke-related cognitive impairment.

I became a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in 2008 and have worked in private practice in Cupertino since 2005. In 2013, as Clinical Director of an Intensive Outpatient Program, I designed and launched a comprehensive treatment model for adolescents facing severe depression, anxiety, suicidality, self-harm, and school refusal. This experience deepened my understanding of how clinical, administrative, and program-development roles intersect to create impactful care systems for youth and families.

Today, my central mission is to continue advancing effective, research-supported treatments for children and adolescents affected by screen addiction and its co-occurring disorders, while empowering families to rebuild balance, connection, and resilience in a digital world. I practice in French, English, and Spanish, and I remain passionate about guiding young people toward healthier habits, stronger decision making, and emotional well-being.

Outside of my work, I enjoy spending time with my family, coaching youth sports, serving on the board of our local softball league, traveling, running, skiing, cooking, and painting.
